If you want to track bottle loss, enable pour reports for staff use. Just like opening the till, your staff should use the Open Bottle button anytime a new bottle is being opened. At the end of the day, staff also enters the amount of the bottle that is discarded, if they are taking the bottle home or dumping it. If the bottle is remaining and saved for pouring the next day, nothing needs to be done.
At the end of the week, the manager can check in the Inventory report to see the Variance report, showing how many bottles were opened and how much was discarded, and which staff has highest variance. Click through to the item level to see all the orders and issues with reporting or variance to investigate the loss.
