Create a hidden test club for testing purposes and test signing up

Updated over a week ago

It is important to keep a test club in place so that whenever you need help with something, we can use this to demonstrate.  You'll be able to use this test club to learn how the system works so you can provide assistance to your customers should the need arise.

Please Note: VinesOS may also create a test user account in your VinesOS console that will be used for testing and it will be clearly labeled. Please do not change or remove our test member account.

IMPORTANT: Make sure your merchant account is added to Vines OS before doing this.

Add a test club and do a signup test from the front end.

  1. Add a club and call it Test Club.

Navigate to Club/Wine Clubs.
Click on 'Add Club'
For 'Title', Name the club "Test Club"

2. Set the Club to Display : YES and Click 'Save'

**Please note: After you've conducted thorough tests, you will change Display to NO before going live.

You've now created a TEST club

4. Add members from Club Sign Up Page

Now add 3 test members. (This is very important so we can train you before launch on how to deal with declines or ship to orders).  The test members that you add must use an email address that is different than your admin email address. Each member must have a unique email address, as it is our identifier for the member.

  1. Add one member for shipping (IF you offer shipping, otherwise skip this one), and using a valid card.

  2. Add one member for pickup (IF you offer pickup, otherwise skip this one), and using a valid card.

  3. Add one member for pickup or shipping, and omit the credit card, so it will be an invalid club order when we do a test batch. Note: This member should be added from your Dashboard, not the club signup page.

For the credit card information on your first two test members, use Stripe's test card:

5. Once you are done testing, keep your Test Club for the future but change Display to NO.
