Shipping a POS Order

Updated this week

The POS assumes the buyer is 'on site' for purchase, so it will add your local tax. If you are going to ship the order, press the blue Ship button and it will add Shipping charge and the destination tax.

Multiple Addresses

Add Multiple Addresses on Ship To Order At Checkout.

You can add a new address for a ship to order on the POS check out. This address will also be available for a member when they login to create an order.

Add Multiple Addresses on the Member Profile

Alternatively, you can click on the customer profile and add multiple addresses that way. Click on Customers > Enter the Name and click into profile.

Then Click Edit.

In the customer profile, scroll down to Shipping Addresses section. Add new address and review billing address. Then click Update and Return.

Shipping Pickup Orders

Need to ship an overdue pickup order? Here are the steps you'll take to convert your pickup order to shipping...

1. In your order invoice, click on 'POS View.'

2. Use the 'Ship' button to mark the order as shipping and select the member's shipping address.

3. Use the 'Modify' button to set the shipping rate to 0

4. Depending on the shipping state, the tax rate may adjust, and you'll have to issue a refund (Should the shipping state be a state with no tax rate or a lesser tax rate than billed).

5. Use the 'Checkout' button to close the order. This will then make the order ready for shipping label creation.

On the checkout pop-up, use the 'Picked Up' button. It will not mark the order as picked up, but instead mark it as closed and ready to ship. The 'Ship' button will appear on the order dashboard view.
