Set a single item to count as more than one for coupons
Set a single item to count as more than one for coupons

Allow a coupon to apply to an item that includes multiple items

If you have a pack that contains more than one item (e.g., 6-bottle pack), and you want to ensure that the total number of those items are counted when the pack is added to checkout, you can utilize the Pack Size option to enter the exact count.

The above is important where qualifying volume based coupouns are concerned. For example, let's say that you created a product that contains a pack of twelve individual wines. If you had a coupon that required a minimum of twelve items to qualify for a 10% discount, in your pack product you would want to enter the count as twelve so that the product would be recognized as having twelve total items and thus would qualify for the coupon. Without setting the Pack Size, the pack product would normally be recognized as only a single product containing one item - the pack itself.
