WineryShip provides a third-party shipping fulfillment service. WineryShip's service model is similar to that offered by VinoShipper, as they hold the shipping license, you print your labels there, and they provide fulfillment. However, WineryShip only charges you for the cost of the shipping label, so they are much more cost-effective than VinoShipper (i.e., VinoShipper charges a percentage of every bottle shipped). Signing up at WineryShip is free, and they create an account for you.
The overall shipping fees for using WineryShip are comparable to most direct rates albeit perhaps slightly higher than other standard shipper services like Fedex, GLS, etc. Just because you set up FedEx, GLS, etc., as your shipper service in VinesOS, doesn't mean that you have to print labels for and use those shipping services.
We recommend putting in your normal shipper (e.g., FedEx, UPS or GLS) rates or using the VinesOS custom rate shipping table to input your rates. That way, you can still generate and capture your cost for a shipping charge as a line item on the VinesOS order. Then, the shipping, label printing, cost, etc., will be completed and fulfilled at your WineryShip account. When you get an order at VinesOS, you log into your WineryShip account, where you will enter the customer's shipping details and print a label.
Also, if you have a lot of orders, you can export those from the VinesOS shipping export section and then send those to WineryShip. You can either send the full export in an email, or you can forward the individual order emails to WineryShip, and they will import or input the orders for you. Check with WineryShip on order entry times; it may be 24 hours. If you are a larger winery and have a significant number of orders, WineryShip can send a truck to your location to pick up your pallet.
