How to get around in VinesOS and how to get support when you need it

Updated over 10 months ago

Getting Support

If you need help with anything, use the red chat icon on the bottom right of the VinesOS console OR email support@vinesos.com. (If you send an email to your account manager directly, they will then need to forward it to support@vinesos.com manually, so it is in our queue, and you will be copied on that. It will always be most efficient to email support@vinesos.com. Your account manager and our Support team will be able to see and share the request).

The VinesOS Console

Once your site is live, you will be auto-directed to the Insights page upon login. The Insights page provides a convenient visual snapshot of sales, revenue, and members, including sales by channel, which can be filtered by period or by setting a custom date. By default, it will show the day's sales data.

Chat Support, Tickets, Feature Requests, Help Articles, and News Updates

When you send a message with a question or comment, our replies will show on the chat icon. Also, news updates will show an indicator light when we have made any updates. It's a great habit to keep an eye on this area so you don't miss our replies (they will also come to you as an email, to the address you have on file on your login account).

Our chat reply will appear on your login, as well as be sent to your email.

Keep an eye on alerts on our updates:

Getting around from the Console to the Shop, Club, or Events pages

When you are logged in, you can quickly get to the front end of your website pages by clicking on the VinesOS logo.

You can get to the POS, Club, Shop, or Events main pages by clicking the links on the top right menu.

After you go to the front-end pages, you will notice ‘edit’ links throughout the VinesOS pages.

Easily navigate back into the VinesOS console by clicking on the Dashboard link in the footer. Like the Edit links, this only shows up when you are logged in as an admin.
