Adding a member from the Dashboard
Navigate to CRM > Customers or Clubs > Members. Select 'New Customer' to add a new customer to your site.
In the 'Account Details' section, you'll add the customer's name, email, phone number, and birthday. On the left-hand side, you can add a subscription and view/edit reward points. All fields with an asterisk are required. If the customer or member does not provide you with an email address, you can enter a fictitious email.
Please note! If you are creating a test account, utilize a different email address than your admin email address, as all accounts require a unique email address.
The next section will be to select a club. You can select a club, multiple clubs, or none. You can also send the last club shipment, add private comments, and put the account on hold. There are a few hold options:
Skip Next Club Release: This will exclude the member from the club release, but they will still get their discount for other orders. Once the club release passes, this option will automatically be unchecked for the next release.
Permanent Hold: Will put the account on hold until an admin unchecks it. Discounts do not apply if membership is on hold.
Temporary Hold: Choose a date to hold the membership through. After the date passes, membership will be reactivated. Discounts do not apply if membership is on hold.
You can also set a member-specific discount in the 'Special Discount' section. This discount will automatically apply to all orders and override the default member discount level.
This section is typically utilized for members in multiple clubs, Industry members, Military members, and for Friends & Family.
Easily filter to these members using the 'Special Discount' filter found under the members page.
You can also view the customer/member's lifetime value, adjust their fulfillment preferences, and adjust their shipping & billing address.
In the 'Signed up by' section, you can enter the name of the staff member who registered the customer. This is primarily utilized for reporting, and if you offer incentives based on sign-ups to your staff.
Finally, add the customer's credit card details and save.
