CUSTOMER CHOICE CLUB
If you want to allow members to log in to modify and customize the selections for their club orders, this article walks you through the setup and various options. You can specify that customers must choose from wine categories or a select group of designated wines, and you can specify a minimum quantity requirement.
How to configure Custom Club
To enable the Custom Club option, you must first go to Settings > General Settings and then scroll down to the Wine Club section.
Look for the 'Offer custom club' option and toggle it on. Then save the page.
Custom Club by Wine Category
If you want your customers to be able to customize their club order by choosing a wine category, from the sidebar, go to Clubs > Clubs. Then click to open up a club.
Scroll down to find 'Club requirement' and specify the minimum requirements for that club. For example, a 2-bottle red club must have 2 bottles of red. Custom orders will not be saved unless they meet this requirement.
If you require a minimum Order amount, so customers cannot modify their order with less than the minimum amount, that can be set on the specific screen when you are starting to create a new club release. *If you do not see this, select the chat message to ask it to be turned on.
NOTE: In the console or at the POS, the club order can be created by admin with a different amount than what is set as the minimum required in the club. The logged-in member will see and be held to the minimum required amount, but only the admin will have the flexibility to change what is in the order, so if it is a special order you can make any needed changes.
Custom Club by Wines
If you want your club members to be able to only choose from a select group of wines, go into the wines that you want to include and scroll down to the section labeled 'Limit Club Customer Choice'. Select the club(s) that you want the wine to be available for during their club order configuration. Then save the page.
When you are ready to process, first review the Club processing article, and then when it says to pause for Customer Choice clubs, there will be a link to this article on processing with Customer Choice.
