ADA Accessible
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that websites provide “reasonable accommodations” for those with disabilities. Various US courts have ruled that commercial websites are places of public accommodation and thus are subject to ADA rules.
Why make your site accessible?
It helps protect your business: Accessibility lawsuits increased by 23% in 2022. The average lawsuit is upwards of $40k and is not covered by standard liability insurance.
It’s the right thing to do: The Internet should be equally accessible to everyone.
It communicates your values: Show your site visitors that you make digital accessibility a priority.
A Tax credit is available for this expense.
