Step 1: Obtain Client ID and Client Secret from UPS
Go to UPS to get your Client ID and Secret. Review the guide on how to generate the Client ID and Client Secret which are necessary fields for the VinesOS direct integration. Use this link to get started filling out the form. Be sure that all Products have been added in the UPS App to ensure a seamless API between VinesOS and UPS.
Step 2: Set Up UPS Integration on VinesOS using UPS oAuth API
Log in to VinesOS, go to Settings, and select the Shipping Carrier API tab.
Set Shipping Carrier as UPS
Scroll down to the UPS API to the UPS oAuth API sections
Enter your UPS Account Number and Pickup Type
Enter the Client ID generated from UPS
Enter the Client Secret generated from UPS
Toggle UPS carbon neutral option if desired
Toggle the UPS email notifications if desired.
Click Save in the upper right-hand corner.
Your integration should be complete for shipping rates, labels, tracking, etc.
