Set up your UPS OAuth connection to VinesOS
Follow these video instructions to create your UPS OAuth ID and Secret.
Enter your new credentials into VinesOS as guided in the video.
Important: After completing this step, notify us—we need to confirm your update and switch your account over manually.

Set Up UPS Integration on VinesOS using UPS oAuth API (as in
As shown in the Video, go to Settings, and select the Shipping Carrier API tab.
Set Shipping Carrier as UPS
Scroll down to the UPS API to the UPS oAuth API sections
Enter your UPS Account Number and Pickup Type
Enter the Client ID generated from UPS
Enter the Client Secret generated from UPS
7. SAVE and notify VinesOS to confirm it is connected properly.
Once confirmed, you have the option to add two important options:
UPS Carbon Neutral Option
This is great for the environment and for your Brand goodwill. UPS calculates the CO₂ emissions for each shipment (based on distance and transport mode) and buys certified carbon offsets equal to that amount. These offsets go toward environmental projects like Reforestation, Landfill gas capture, Wastewater treatment and Methane destruction.
In terms of Brand goodwill, consumers increasingly favor eco-conscious brands.
UPS’s Carbon Neutral option adds a small flat fee per shipment (as of 2025, around $0.05 for Ground, $0.20 for Express) to offset the carbon emissions associated with UPS deliveries. *Contact UPS for pricing details.

Your shipping label may carry a Carbon Neutral badge or include it in tracking info.
UPS handles the calculations and offset purchases automatically.
You get a transparent, measurable way to reduce carbon impact.
UPS email notifications
UPS email notifications: This will give UPS the additional ability to send your customer emails directly from UPS as well, including additional shipping information such as Shipment Confirmation, In-Transit Updates, Delivery Confirmation, Exception Alerts, Missed Delivery Notices and UPS My Choice Alerts (for enrolled customers), and Access Point Notifications.
