Manage event registrations in the POS - view, edit, charge member cards on file

Event registrations can be easily managed within the POS

Updated over a week ago

In the POS, you can view all of your upcoming event reservations when clicking on the RSVP button.

The RSVP page will show all reservations for upcoming bookings, but the red notifier icon on the tab will show how many reservations there are for the current day.

You can click on the green Open button to view any RSVP in the POS to confirm and make changes if needed.

The RSVP will open as a line item in the order, where it can be edited, and removed, and you can charge the customer's card on file to process any changes or additions to the order.

Add Items to the Reservation

You can easily add items to an online reservation. The following video shows you how to open up a reservation, view the payment details, and add additional items to the reservation. You can also charge the card on file for those items that you have added.

QR code Check-in

Customers coming in for a tasting or event can be checked in quickly using the QR code provided in their event confirmation email. The customer just needs to display the QR code from the email on their mobile phone, and staff can scan the code from an iPad or tablet to open the reservation. You can use a QR Code Scanner or even the camera on the iPad to scan the code.
Note - If you don’t see QR codes already set up for your events, please contact us to ask to have this feature enabled.

On check-in, staff can enter the Table number or Customer identifier or any note, and then select one of three buttons to complete the check-in process. Once the customer is checked in, an 'Arrived' status will be added to the order and to the orders list page.

Check-in button options include: Check In & Hold, Check In & Open, and Check In & Close.

Check In & Hold - this will mark the customer as Arrived and keep the Order in Open orders.

Check In & Open - this will mark the customer as Arrived and open the Order on the POS.

Check In & Close- this will mark the customer as Arrived and keep the Order closed.

NOTE: This must be configured so please ask us to turn it on for you.
