QR Codes for Products - Create and print QR menus, track QR code scans, CSV exports

Updated over a week ago

There are two types of QR codes available:

Track QR Code Scans

QR codes that are scanned by customers for wines, products, and events can be tracked and reported on to inform you of the number of scans that have been done. This can help with marketing to let you know how often customers are scanning and for what products. The number of scans is displayed on the product detail page. For example, you may be wanting to track click-throughs from QR codes in a retail setting.

Please note that to utilize the QR code tracking feature, once this feature is enabled you will need to print new QR codes.

This feature is installed and enabled by default, unless your site was launched prior to July 2023. If you would like the QR code tracking feature enabled, please reach out to VinesOS.

Club Signup QR Code

From your main Clubs page in the dashboard you can click on the QR code to print it. Use this at your point of sale or for marketing to let customers quickly access your club sigunp form.

Print QR Codes for Wine Tasting notes (and Other Products such as Beer, Spirits, etc)

Vines will automatically create a unique QR code for each of your products, as well as a main menu QR code link for all products.

Individual Product QR Codes

As admin in Vines, you can click on each product's QR image to open a one page product summary which can be printed out and physically cut out the elements to use as you will, whether on your shelf or on the wine itself. The summary page includes the product image, title, QR code, and winemaker's notes (taken from the first paragraph of your description).

Export QR Codes

You can click the Export QR Codes button at top of page to create an exported CSV spreadsheet file of your filtered product data.

From this spreadsheet, you can extract the data to use in any QR code publishing or marketing apps. The export includes columns for: product ID, product title, notes, and the QR code link. Here's an example:
