QR Menu for Onsite Orders

Customers can scan QR menu and add items to share with their server

Updated over a week ago

You can print out a QR code for your wine menu and place it where onsite customers can scan it to pull up a menu on their phone. From there, customers can add a bottle or glass to their My Order page. The customer can then reference their My Order when relaying their order to staff. The menu is designed to help customers find and read about the wines that they are interested in, view the tasting notes, and build and track their order.

Here is the process:

1. Print out the QR menu code from your Wine List page (from the VinesOS sidebar, go to Products > Wine). Place this QR code with instructions in your establishment where customers can conveniently interact with it (e.g., placard on tabletops)

2. When the customer scans the QR code with their phone, the following QR menu will come up:

3. The customer can build their order by clicking on the Order Glass or Order Bottle buttons. Member and guest prices are included for reference. When items are clicked, a popup confirmation message will appear and the My Order indicator at the bottom of the screen will reflect the added item.

4. Once the customer is done adding items, they can click the green My Order button at the bottom of the screen to view their order page. The My Order page lists all of the items added, and from there the customer can modify the number of items and/or delete items.

5. When everything looks good, the customer can share this page with Staff for reference.

If you don't see the QR code for the menu on your Wines management page, please reach out to VinesOS and we will get that installed for you. If you
